許多人夢想成為大明星的地方、追星族的天堂、同時也是襲捲全世界電影工業的製造地，來到這裡，即可感受到星光閃閃
。在Hollywood Blvd. 路上印滿了由默片時代至今演藝名人的星形名牌，於1960年建成，共有2,500星形名牌，現時已有約2,100枚名花有主，每個月約有1至2枚被命名，當中包括著名影星、歌星、導演、作曲家、舞台演員等。此外，星形名牌內有一個圓形圖案，標誌名人的所屬界別，如攝影機代表是影星或導演，而唱片則是歌星或作曲家。
每次好萊塢新片上映時，大家一定在電視上看過，許多影迷日夜守候在造型獨特的劇院前，只為一睹明星風采或觀看最新的電影，就是這世界最著名的戲院也是好萊塢的地標-中國戲院。
當年默劇明星Norma Talmadge 拜訪這個尚在興建的戲院時，不小心在未乾的水泥地上，留下了腳印，但也因此啟發了Grauman 的靈感，造就了現今數以千萬的影迷前來觀看，他們最喜歡的明星的手、腳印及簽名。
